By adding different volumes of developer, you can vary the shade consistency from light to dark. The dye molecules in the hair color combine with hydrogen peroxide, creating a specific reaction known as oxidation. This results in coloring the strands with the colored hue. As the color molecule is absorbed into the strands, it locks in the pigments, and hence, it does not fade even after multiple washes.

However, taking a strand test before coloring your hair is best. Coarse hair takes longer to absorb the color, while finer hair absorbs color quickly. Hence, for thicker, coarse hair, the processing time might be longer than required for thinner hair. • Mix the sandy blonde hair color with Moehair Developer, as the package indicates.
• In a non-metallic container, mix 1 part Moehair color of your choice + 1½ part Moehair Developer.
• In the super lightening series, mix 1 part of Moehair + 2 ½ parts of the developer formula.
• Wear gloves while mixing and applying the permanent hair color. Apply the color to dry and unwashed hair.
• Let the color sit for 60 minutes for processing, allowing it time to deposit color on the strands.
• Rinse off with a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo. Follow with a conditioner.


Retouch 
• Apply the desired formula to the new growth and process for 30 minutes.
• To create a uniform color for the whole length and ends, mix sandy blonde hair dye with a lower volume developer (5 to 10 Volumes).
• Apply on hair and let it process for 10 minutes for uniform deposit.
