Applying the color leaves your hair finely colored as pigments penetrate the hair shaft. As the color absorbs, it interacts with the hair's natural pigments. It does not alter the hair's texture and strength. Oxidation is a process that results in laying the color dye on the hair strand. As the color molecule embeds the hair fiber, it leaves a long-lasting permanent shade with the locking of the pigment. As it is permanent, the color does not fade away despite multiple washes. Coarser hair takes longer to absorb, while finer hair absorbs quickly. It is ideal to test your hair strands before applying the hair color. 

Preparing the color
•Mix the mahogany hair color with Moehair Developer (read the instructions on the package carefully).
• Mix 1 part of the color and 1 and ½ of Moehair Developer in a non-metallic bowl. However, if you want a light shade, try 1 part Color with 2 and ½ if 12% Developer.
•Use gloves for application. Always apply on washed and dried hair. Let the color sit for 60 minutes or depending on the requirement.
• Rinse off with shampoo and conditioner.

Retouch 
• Use the hair color and developer mix for new hair growth. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
• For uniformity from roots to ends, use a second formulate with mahogany brown hair color and developer (5 to 10 volumes). Let it sit for 10 minutes for a fresh color deposit.
