Pink Hair Dye

This review is for the following item: Voodoo Vegan Hair Paint - Puppy Love (Pastel Pink) 8 fl oz | Vivid, Bright, and Intense Semi-permanent direct dye color with intermixable shades to create more colors. I was still determining what to expect. I looked at the bottle and tried to shake the contents but noticed it was thick and not shaking. So I opened the pump top and pumped some into a paper bowl. I was surprised at how thick the texture was. Wearing gloves, I applied the color to sections of my hair. The color was a vibrant pink in the bowl, and I was hoping it wouldn't be so bright when I was done. My hair is salt and pepper, so it is a bit pinker on the gray area and not as pink on the darker sections of my hair. But all in all, I like how it looks. I did leave the color on for 40 minutes before rinsing it out. I only rinsed it and did not use any shampoo or conditioner. My hair was nice and soft. While using the coloring, there was no noticeable odor, no chemical smell, nothing. The next day, I washed my hair; the picture is after 1 washing. There is no noticeable difference in the color after the 1 wash. I will use this hair paint again, I like that the color is softer and not bright. Being a breast cancer survivor, I do embrace the color pink.

I have been dying my hair since I was 15 years old. I've tried many products and been to many different salons up and down the East Coast. And I have never walked out feeling completely satisfied with the time and money I spent to do my hair. Even doing it myself, I've run into many products that use harmful chemicals, smell terrible, and wash off by my 3rd wash. I have never had a vibrant look regardless of the color I'd choose because my hair is stubborn, doesn't hold in color, and doesn't like the chemicals. Just wind up with dry, damaged, blond hair. I also have curly 3B hair, which has no water retention and always looks dry and frizzy regardless of the heatless and healthy hair products I've used. I've invested thousands of dollars in my hair to achieve the look I want while keeping my hair alive through it all. But when I tell you, this is the first time using a hair dye that has left my hair silky smooth, healthier, and more vibrant and beautiful than I expected. I feared this would be another product for which I threw money away. But I promise you this is going to be my forever brand. While leaving it in my hair, I noticed it was very oily, and when I washed it out, it studded up just like shampoo, I conditioned it and dried it with a hair towel, and not a single stain on my bathtub or towels. I styled it as usual with my regular products and was surprised, left with the most beautifully vibrant and soft curls. Long story short, it's an inexpensive semi-permanent hair dye that works better than a permanent hair dye. it doesn't cause any dryness or damage, and I have enough left in my bottle to dye my hair again. I see nothing but a big Win with this brand and will return for more. It smells like berries, and it is so easy to apply. Just follow the instructions. Clean, dry hair, no conditioner, and separate the hair into 4 sections, I suggest brushing your hair before applying the dye if you have similar hair textures. Brush or comb in the dye to work it into the hair. And let it sit 45 mins. Wash it out, condition it, and style it as usual. There was no color difference between the product from the pictures on moehair website vs. the bottle in real life, and no color differences when it was applied to my hair vs. washed out. Give it a try. It's inexpensive, a healthy alternative to hair dye, and a great product. I guarantee I will buy this product again and try many different colors with my new hair journey development.

I got the hot pink color, and with my pair being a little on the darker side, it's not as bright as I would like. But i love the simplicity of using this and not damaging my hair.

The color turned out to the best part, it smelled good and my hair feels so good.
